Peppermint herb is one of the most popular remedies in folk medicine for colds, headaches or sore throats, and is widely used for flavoring food and making tea.

For delicate scents lovers, we recommend paying attention to this wonderfully fragrant oil, which will revive the home atmosphere with its freshness and grassy notes. This scent will help create a great environment for mental work and thinking.

Peppermint essential oil has a soothing effect and is used on damaged, reddened skin to temporarily reduce skin sensitivity and provide a cooling effect [1]. Studies have shown positive effects when used in skin care for dermatitis.

A large amount of peppermint oil on the skin can cause redness, because menthol, which contains up to 40% of the oil, activates blood circulation. A smaller amount, on the contrary, perfectly tones and improves the color of the skin in case of mature or pale skin. We recommend trying it as a component for clay masks.

There is evidence in the scientific literature that peppermint essential oil can accelerate hair growth [2].

Peppermint essential oil has repellent properties, not only does it have a wonderful fresh smell, but it also repels mosquitoes [3].
