It is well known that antioxidants work more effectively in pairs. This is how vitamin C works together with glutathione in our skin cells, which form an extremely effective pair of antioxidants, which is why we chose this tandem for our serum.
When to use vitamin C serum? To even out uneven skin tones, including pigmented or age spots. The serum contains such a quantity of active substances that with regular use, longer than 2-3 months, the skin can acquire a lighter color. Vitamin C serum has a beneficial effect on mature skin or skin with the first signs of aging, as it helps to reduce fine wrinkles and revive the appearance, and when used on problem areas, it can compensate for the lack of vitamin C, the amount of which in the skin decreases more and more over the years.
This serum is recommended for the consequences of skin overexposed to the sun, with signs of photoaging. Excellent results when used on skin with acne or comedones. In studies with 5% vitamin C products, it was found that after 12 weeks of use, it gave an excellent result in 76.9% of cases, which is important – with no observed side effects.
Vitamin C serum can be successfully combined with products containing retinol, niacinamide or salicylic acid.
