Ingredients: triticum vulgare germ oil (100% pure unrefined wheat germ oil)
Origin: USA.
Method of extraction: extracted by cold pressing from fresh wheat germs. Our oil is standardized and contains at least 0.25% of natural tocopherols (vitamin E).
Wheat germ oil is a natural concentrate of vitamins and active substances. It is outstanding from other oils by the highest content of vitamin E, in addition, it contain the most active form – alpha-tocopherol (about 70%), and the antioxidant properties of the mixture of tocopherols higher than pure alpha-tocopherol or beta-carotene.
Wheat germ oil is rich in ergosterol and 7-dehydrocholesterol, which are converted to vitamins D2 and D3 in our skin by exposure to UV rays. Like tocopherols, they activate the protection of skin cells by promoting the action of the antioxidant system, the division of new cells and the production of antibacterial peptides, which accelerates healing and reduces inflammatory processes. They prolong safe time of exposure to the sun and reduce the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight.
Wheat germ oil is used for the care of damaged skin with cracks, abrasions, burns. Works effectively with cracked, rough, wind-blown lips. This oil helps to restore the required level of water in the skin, softens and protects it from dehydration.
The active ingredients of wheat germ oil have the property of normalizing the regeneration of cells in the stratum corneum. Recommended for improving the condition of scaly skin (eg hands).
Due to the high content of natural antioxidants that slow down cell aging, this oil is a great addition to neck, face and eye care products for premature aging and wrinkle prevention.
