AHA peelings are very popular all over the world for their effectiveness and results, which can be felt after just a few uses. Among the many fruit acids (otherwise known as AHAs – alpha-hydroxy acids), glycolic acid provides a highly visible effect – it exfoliates the top layer of the skin, improving color and appearance, and moisturizing the skin. Regular use of AHA-acids helps reduce hyperpigmentation and the appearance of fine lines.
The peeling contains 2% salicylic acid (otherwise known as BHA – beta-hydroxy acid), which acts as a keratolytic and allows the glycolic acid to penetrate deeper, increasing its effectiveness. This acid peeling for intensive skin cleansing and renewal has a pH of 3.8, so it can irritate specific nerve endings in the skin, causing a slight tingling sensation on contact, which is the skin’s normal reaction to such a low pH. As a result, a strong concentration scrub cannot be recommended for sensitive and dry skin and in this case we recommend choosing a Mild acidic peeling with a higher pH.
We recommend the acidic peeling for mature, rough, problem skin with acne, comedones and pimples.
How to use?
Apply evenly on clean, dry skin of face and neck. Hold for 3-10 minutes and wash with warm water. We recommend starting with the shortest time, if the skin tolerates the scrub well, you can increase the time, because this determines how deep the active substances will work in the stratum corneum. Use no more than 2 times a week. Do not use on damaged or sensitive skin. For regular use, choose sunscreen and limit sun exposure in the summer time.
